Just Worship?
First of all I want to say that Jesus is Lord no matter. This, I truly believe. Although I find it hard to trust in others and myself, I know for sure that this man Jesus Christ really is both Lord and God.
For the spiritually unconvinced: Have you thought about who is really in control of everything? Did you know that God claims to be ruling over all things even presidents and nations? Yes, there is a good and powerful God whose name is Jesus Christ that rules even over all things in heaven and earth. Did you know that He wants you to praise Him?
1 Chronicles 29:10-19 “Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name.”
With this thought, I want us to be reminded that we can be grateful to God for all things that we have. Sometimes when I look at the material possessions that are so costly in our lives I can’t seem to think anything more of it than a heap of plastic that will eventually perish.
However, I can thank God that even though I am a sinner, He forgives me time after time.
Thanks be to God!
Sometimes, all we need to do is JUST WORSHIP GOD
For the spiritually unconvinced: Do you know what worship is? It’s basically to give priority to. To worship God means we say that God is important in our lives. He gaves us all these good things to enjoy. So now we are going to respect and honor Him for being a good God. Have you ever done this before? Are you worshiping through God’s Beloved Son, Jesus Christ? God only accepts worship that is through the shed blood of His righteous Son Jesus Christ who died on the cross for your sins. Simply so that you can be forgiven! Isn’t that something to be grateful about?
